The aim of the game
The aim of the game is to score as many goals as possible, with only the GS and GA being allowed to score.
3 key rules to get your started
There are lots of rules in netball that need to be learned, however the number one rule that players must abide by is that you cannot run with the ball. Once you have court the ball, your landing foot - the foot you placed down first, cannot be moved. You then have 3 seconds to pass the ball onto another one of your team mates. Finally if the other team has the ball and you are defending, you must stand a minimum of 3 feet away from your opponent or a penalty will be given against you.
Things to remember when turning up to training or match day
Remember to remove all jewellery before you step foot on the court and make sure your nails done come up above the top of your fingers.
Also it is a really good idea to come with your hair tied up, and with a water bottle to remain hydrated!
