The Netball Super League (NSL) is back and set to be bigger, faster and more exciting than ever - and we couldn’t be prouder to see some familiar names from the Gilbert family taking to court this season. These players bring elite talent, grit and attacking flair that will fire up fans across the country.

Our 2026 NSL Representatives

Berri Neil – Loughborough Lightning

Berri has continued her rise as one of the league’s most exciting attacking talents. Comfortable at Goal Attack and Wing Attack, she joined reigning champions Loughborough Lightning at the start of the 2025 season and has quickly become a key contributor in their dynamic offence.

At just 21, Neil has already earned recognition as a Vitality Roses international and continues to develop into one of England’s brightest stars.

Eleanor Cardwell – Manchester Thunder

England international Eleanor Cardwell is one of British netball’s most accomplished shooters. Having competed at the top level in both the UK and overseas, she returns to the Manchester Thunder squad for the 2026 NSL season after a spell in Australia’s elite competition.

Her leadership and experience in the circle will be a huge boost for Thunder as they chase league honours.

Iona Christian – Nottingham Forest Netball

A fan favourite and inspirational figure, Iona Christian joins Nottingham Forest in their NSL campaign, bringing tenacity, speed and vision to the mid-court.

Iona's journey is one of resilience - returning to top-flight netball following maternity leave and continuing to represent Scotland on the international stage.

Georgina Inger – London Mavericks

The experienced and powerful attacker Georgina Inger (Fisher) will line up for the London Mavericks as part of their NSL squad.

With a decorated career that includes domestic league success and international experience with England, Georgina’s return to the UK netball scene adds experience and goal-scoring threat to the Mavericks’ attacking set-up.

Beth Durant – Loughborough Lightning

Joining Berri at Loughborough Lightning is defensive powerhouse Beth Durant. Renowned for her relentless work rate, strong intercepting ability and court awareness, Beth brings intensity and grit to the defensive circle and midcourt transitions.

Her athleticism and reading of the game make her a key asset for Lightning as they push for another strong campaign this season. With Beth’s defensive pressure and leadership, expect plenty of momentum-shifting moments on court.

Hannah Knightbridge - London Mavericks

Hannah Knightbridge earns her place in the Netball Super League squad following a standout period of development and consistent performances. Known for her composure, athleticism and strong game awareness, she brings energy and reliability whenever she takes to court.

Her NSL call-up marks a significant step forward in her career and underlines her potential to make an impact at the elite level. We’re excited to see Hannah take this opportunity and continue her rise on the biggest domestic stage.
